Villa is three bus rides away from where we live, and we are devoting most of our weekend time to it. On Saturday mornings from 9-11am, we are teaching the children of Villa, and then visiting parents trying to gain contacts to start a cell group. We feel that after our contacts our made, we will have a good number of people that will want to take part. The next prayer will have to be for a large building to hold these groups!
Last week, Nohemy and I with the help of Brigida a friend from church, held a Vacation Bible School with the children every morning for the entire week. Now Arequipa has been hit with a ton of rain, and this put a damper on the other churches doing VBS, and they had no choice but to cancel. God blessed Nohemy and I with a building to hold the classes, and no matter the weather---we had VBS. We give God all the praise! The first day we had around 13 children, but numbers increased every morning. By the end of the week we had betweet 26-30 kids. Each day consisted of a lesson, songs, gifts, work-book time, and then we fed them at the end of the class. The children loved it, and this helped us set a base for every Saturday. 
Please pray for us, that God will guide our every step, and that he would be our every word. We feel confident that by the time we are finished here in Arequipa, there will be a church in Villa!
